Schmeeckle Reserve
2419 North Point Drive, Stevens Point
280-acre natural area on the campus of UWSP with
5 miles of trails and boardwalks for
jogging, walking, and biking. Fish,
canoe, or watch wildlife on the pristine
Lake Joanis. The visitor center is open
8am to 5pm seven days a week. It houses
the Browse Shop, with a wide selection
of nature inspired gifts, the Wisconsin
Conservation Hall of Fame, and is the
headquarters of the Green Circle Trail.
